Dear Friends, My new book is finally finished! It is the story of Father Richard Sanders, a Trappist monk who left his abbey to find God among migrant farmworkers. He died at age 47 in Immokalee, Florida from a massive heart attack. Some of the people there believe he was a saint. There are always lighted candles and flowers at his grave, which is next to the building that was his church and is now called Sanders Hall. Soon I will finish writing some of the songs I've started over the last year, and am anxious to get started on some new ones - about Father Sanders! I'm still spending a lot of time in Immokalee with Our Lady of Guadalupe's expanded choir, and continue to be inspired by the people there. I hope you are all well and happy, Peace. Carlene
